Hey folks. I know it’s been a while but life in Gidi really is a grind. I returned from my first trip back to New York and I must say that I really missed Nigeria. The food, the climate and the energy of this place just keeps you wanting more. In my attempt to find a cure for jetlagg I decided to ask one of my colleagues for some pointers. She recommended that I take a strong drink (I decided on Bacardi – straight up), fall asleep around 6pm , have the best rest of my life and then wake up well rested at my usual time, 7am. Well that didn’t work! I ended up waking up at 11:30pm and not going back to bed until 3am AGAIN. What’s a girl to do?? I’ve been dozing off in meetings!!
